Biography
Prior to beginning a second career as a lawyer, Jes worked in marketing for more than ten years, where she focused on graphic design and copywriting for clients in the higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors. While in law school, Jes was an editor for the Government Law Review, a teaching assistant for Torts, Property Law, and Constitutional Law, and a semifinalist in the Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy moot court competition. She also worked as a law clerk for the litigation firm Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC in Albany, NY and the employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP in Boston, MA. Jes is also a hockey goalie and has participated in and helped to organize charity hockey tournaments throughout the Northeast.
